ENMU Reads summer reading support program partnered with 59 libraries in New Mexico and West Texas in the summer of 2021 to support the effort to encourage young people to read more books during the summer. The 2021 ENMU Reads summer reading support program provided ENMU branded certificates, bookmarks, coloring sheets, posters and teamed with the Albuquerque Isotopes, the Amarillo Sod Poodles, the El Paso Chihuahuas, Domino's Team Bailey, and Whataburger to provide grand prizes to libraries.
"I am immensely proud of the Communication Services staff that brainstormed a fantastic program and partnership with these libraries." said Patrice Caldwell, President of ENMU. "ENMU Reads celebrates young readers and recognizes their achievement with the help of some great sponsors. There is no better preparation for school, college or life than strong reading skills. I thank CASE for this Circle of Excellence recognition."
