When?
Eastern New Mexico University is excited to host an oboe reed-making workshop on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why?
This free workshop is designed to help students learn and improve their skills in reed making for the oboe, a vital aspect of playing this instrument. The workshop will be led by experienced instructors who will guide students through the process of creating their own reeds.
Who?
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to develop your oboe reed-making skills. To participate in this workshop, please fill out the permission form below. Please also fill out the medical Waiver Form, print it out, and bring it to ENMU on Saturday, May 6.
What should I bring?
Please bring your oboe, tool kit with all supplies, a medium-sized bowl, a large Altoid tin, and a mini Altoid tin to the clinic.
