The ENMU official ring is a tangible symbol of pride and commitment to the university community that unites alumni and students worldwide. It is also a tangible representation of the rich traditions that are such an integral part of the university. The ring serves as a reminder of your success at Eastern New Mexico University. All who wear the ring have not only a timeless reminder of their memories and achievements at the university; they also have a lasting symbol of ENMU traditions.
Ring Symbolism
Every element of the Greyhound Ring is symbolic. The top of the ring features the University seal. The University seal, which is only allowed on items approved by the Chancellor's office, features several marks that represent the history of our University.
One side of the ring features ENMU's most historic building, the Administration Building, and the founding year of the University. The other side of the ring is customizable to students or alumni to feature a timeless reminder of your memories and achievements at the University.
Greyhound Ring Ceremony
Students receive their Greyhound ring at a special ceremony during homecoming week. This new tradition will bring together Greyhounds, family, and friends to the Administration Building to celebrate this milestone by receiving their Greyhound Rings.
