Bio
Hamid Allamehzadeh received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1996. He taught at the University of Wisconsin in Electrical Engineering Department for one year. Then, he joined the Electronic Engineering /Mathematical Sciences Department at the Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, in 1998, where he is now a professor. He has published more than 20 technical papers in IEEE and other reputable electrical engineering Conferences. He has supervised several EET students in more than ten projects that were involved Control Systems, Magnetic Levitation Systems, and Communication Systems. His original research was focused on Fuzzy Logic Control and Sliding Mode Control. His latest research has been focused on Renewable Energy Technology. Dr. Eduardo Ceh-Varela received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University in 2021.
He joined ENMU in the same year as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science. He serves as the Computer Science Club advisor.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the area of computer systems and information technologies working for different companies and government agencies in Mexico.
From 2007 to 2017 he was a Full Time Associate Professor at the Metropolitan Technological University (UTM) in Mexico. He also was the Networking program coordinator.
During that time, he was the co-founder of the research lab on new technologies, HITLabs.
He has several international publications about his research projects.

Applied Machine Learning, Data Mining, Recommender Systems, Natural Language Processing.

Bio
Prabha Shrestha, a native of Nepal, received her Ph.D. in mathematics with a
specialization in statistics from Ohio University. She earned a master of science
in applied mathematics from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. She is an Assistant
Professor of Statistics at Eastern New Mexico University in College of Liberal
Arts and Sciences. Dr. Shrestha has experience in teaching Statistics, Mathematics, and Data Analysis courses. She is proficient in R, SAS, and Python
programming languages. Her research interests are in the areas of sufficient
dimension reductions, influence functions, non-parametric statistics, and data
visualization.
