The ENMU Preparatory Program, organized by the Department of Music, aims to provide affordable music education for students from Portales and surrounding communities. Taking place on the Eastern campus, students will receive high-quality instruction in collegiate facilities from ENMU undergraduate students, with faculty supervision.
The prep program operates on the same 16-week fall and 16-week spring ENMU academic schedule. Tuition is $250 per 16-week semester.
We offer open enrollment. Students can register for the program anytime during the 16-week semester and receive pro-rated (per week) tuition.
One-on-one Instruction Can Elevate
Individuals participating in the program will receive:
- exceptional one-on-one instruction
- solo and ensemble, and all-state audition preparation
- college audition preparation
- performance opportunities
Private Lessons Offered
We offer lessons in:
- guitar
- percussion
- piano
- voice
- winds
