The ENMU-Portales campus will be closed tomorrow (Friday, January 10, 2025) in an abundance of caution due to winter weather and hazardous road conditions. Essential personnel from the Department of Public Safety and the Physical Plant will be required to show up to work at regularly scheduled times unless otherwise directed by a supervisor. Named for the local science fiction writer, the Jack Williamson Liberal Arts building was renovated in 2014 and is one of the most modern buildings on campus. The criminal justice, history, humanities, philosophy, mathematics, and language and literature programs are located here. This building also houses a computer lab, language lab, and the Writing Center. We encourage students to utilize the Writing Center for assistance with each stage of writing a paper.
