The UTC is the primary venue for dance, theatre and large musical performances. Around eight productions take place here every year. In this building, you can find a 419-seat proscenium theater, a 125-seat experimental black-box theater, dance rehearsals, dressing rooms, scene shop, costume shop, classrooms and faculty offices. You do not have to be a theatre major to audition and participate in productions. If you would like a chance at having your original play produced, check out the new works program.
