Throughout the years ENMU has seen many faculty and staff come and go, but not often is the campus blessed with a man who cared so much about a university and its students.

The museum was renamed in his honor for his many years of service, hard work and dedication to the school.

Dr. Gannaro was nationally recognized research for his research into wildlife—with many of the specimens he studied on display in the museum.

Without Dr. Gennaro's work to obtain and maintain the museum, ENMU would not be as successful in the zoology and wildlife department. The purpose of this museum is to educate students on the wildlife and minerals that are native to New Mexico and show off other minerals and animals

The museum has many interesting features--including live reptiles and other animals that aren't seen every day. The museum has a very extensive mineral collection that features real gold and diamonds.

Thousands of people who visit the campus also visit the museum and come back to visit it a second time.

The museum is located in Roosevelt Hall, which is between the ENMU Post Office and the Science Building.
