Summer is one of the best seasons of the year. It's a chance for a breath of fresh air and the perfect time to take a break. Many Greyhounds have exciting plans for the summer, including traveling across the United States and even other countries. I had the opportunity to travel out of the state and enjoy the cool breeze from the California shoreline.

Here is what other ENMU employees have planned:

Name: Haley Powell
Position: Tracking Clerk
Summer Plans: I plan to go the beach, and to Santa Fe with some friends.

Name: Candace Baros
Position: Office Coordinator for Communication Services
Summer Plans: We spend most our weekends on the golf course, unless our granddaughters are here, we are usually at the zoo. We did spend a weekend in Ruidoso for the bike rally.

Name: Lake Baker
Position: Recruiter
Summer Plans: Mostly helping students get enrolled. I will also be traveling to Arizona.

Name: Desiree Cooper 
Position: Coordinator of Media Relations
Summer Plans: In May, I was in the front row for Taylor Swift in Glendale, Arizona, and Kendrick Lamar in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I saw Paramore in Dallas this past weekend.

Name: Kelsey Laurenz
Position: Recruiter
Summer Plans: Visiting Cancun, Mexico.

Name: Sara Wright
Position: Graphic Designer
Summer Plans: I went to Denver for a few days. I went to a Haim concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater and visited the Denver Art Museum. I also went to Ruidoso for a softball tournament.

Position: Coordinator for the Transfer Center
Summer Plans: I am the youth group leader, and I am taking my youth group to a retreat in Dallas.

Name: Karina Dozal
Position: Graphic Designer 
Summer Plans: This summer I was able to visit not only my dream location, but two other amazing places. I got to visit Paris, France, London, England, and Brussels, Belgium.

Name: Celina Stroup
Position: Secretary of Enrollment Services
Summer Plans: Mostly working, but I also took a trip to Wisconsin at the end of June to attend my best friend's wedding.

Name: Carla J. Benavidez
Position: Accountant for KENW Broadcast Center
Summer Plans: Camping, fishing, getting out of New Mexico for a little bit. Disneyland (I can dream can't I?)

Name: Kenneta Montaño-Aragon
Position: Student Editor for Communication Services
Summer Plans: I am spending my summer camping, barbecuing and practicing flow art with my fire fans."

Name: Melody Gallagher
Position: Assistant Registrar
Summer Plans: My husband and I are going to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I am looking forward to soaking in the hot springs.

Name: Breanna Smith
Position: Student Worker for Communication Services
Summer Plans: I went to France, Belgium and the United Kingdom for three weeks for a study abroad class with ENMU. Then in August, my boyfriend and I are going to California for a week to get out of New Mexico before school starts up again.

Name: Adam Fajardo
Position: Webmaster
Summer Plans: I will be attending the Alumni Day at Isotopes Park in Albuquerque on July 18. In August, I will be going to Ruidoso for a fantasy football draft with a few friends/fraternity brothers. It's something we do every year, and it gives us all a chance to meet up once a year to hang out, catch up, have fun and draft our fantasy football teams.
