For many of us, college is a brand-new experience with lots of adventures. For some of us, college is a place where we will fall in love. For others, including myself, college will be a time when you find the person you want to be with for the rest of your life.

Whether you plan on marrying that special someone during or shortly after college, planning a wedding during classes can seem like a daunting task. I wouldn't say that I've gotten it completely figured out, but I have found a few ways to alleviate a lot of the stress. I'm here to tell you that it's not impossible and to share the things that I've done to make the planning process easier.

First things first, get organized. All it really takes is starting a Pinterest board. Even if you don't know how to be organized, Pinterest basically does it for you. Use the board to gather your thoughts and organize them. Or, if you're feeling courageous, start multiple boards: one for dresses, one for reception ideas, one for venue ideas, save the dates and so on. Using Pinterest can really help you out later when you need to remember those promising ideas that you saw online, but can't seem to remember off the top of your head.

My second piece of advice is to create a schedule. I'm not talking a day-of schedule, but a schedule leading up to your big day. Start at the month you are in and work your way to the wedding day, outlining everything you want to get done during each month. If you have trouble knowing what goes where, Pinterest is a wonderful place to turn. They have tons of wedding timelines that you can look at. Always remember, though, that the timeline you create is tentative and that you must be flexible. Doing this helps you work through the planning month by month instead of day by day, which can be extremely helpful when you are going to school at the same time.

My final piece of advice is to involve people you truly and completely trust. If you're going to need help planning the wedding, ask people you know you can count on. When you get overwhelmed, go to them and ask for help. The people you choose should be willing to do anything and everything (minus illegal stuff) to make your big day special. So, choose wisely and make sure you continually communicate with them every step of the way. Hold monthly meetings if you must and ask them to be your accountability partner when it comes to staying on track. After all, remaining calm and collected is the key to successful wedding planning.
