The May 2017 graduate plans to become a school administrator within two years. His district partnered with ENMU, allowing him to earn his master's fully funded. Ideally, he would like to work his way up and become the superintendent of a school district.
He graduated from Artesia High School in 2001 and completed his bachelor's degree at ENMU.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys fishing and hopes to catch two bass on one lure. He also loves spending time with his wife and two sons.
The online student likes the ENMU faculty in the education administration program. He has maintained good communication with them throughout his degree.
He has been on the Dean's List, earned a full scholarship and received the Most Outstanding Math Senior Award.
Matthew recommends Eastern because the "professors truly care who you are and if you put the work in. The student-to-teacher ratio is kept low and will ensure a great education, provided you are motivated to learn."
