Jose Mondragon attends Eastern New Mexico University for the small class sizes and various research opportunities.
The 21-year-old is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and plans to graduate May 2018. He is double majoring in electronic engineering technologies and computer science. "The advanced fundamental processes learned in this program can be applied to many different electronic fields that are currently being used in the current electronics industry," he said.
The junior, who prefers taking classes on campus, says his relationship with Dr. Hamid Allamehzadeh stands out most about his experience at ENMU because of the professor's helpfulness. "He has gone above and beyond to help me in my research projects no matter the problem. He makes himself available every day and helps every single person in his classes: online and on campus," Jose said. He recommends ENMU for its "exceptional campus and dedicated staff members."
