Portales, NM–February 21, 2023 – At the Eastern New Mexico University Board of Regents meeting on Friday, February 17, at the campus of ENMU-Ruidoso, the Board of Regents approved a 0% tuition and fees increase for the 23-24 school year. 

"As we continue to work with the State Legislature to fund areas of ENMU and maintain the affordability of higher education, we felt it important to minimize the cost to our students," said James Johnston, president of ENMU. "I appreciate the Board of Regents’ support of this view and direction."

The 0% tuition and fee increase will continue to keep ENMU as one of the most affordable schools in the Southwest and the most affordable four-year University in the state.
