PORTALES, NM – March 25, 2021 – Eastern New Mexico University recently received re-accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) for the next eight years, ending in October 2028.

Since 1952, CSWE has represented social work education nationally, accrediting more than 750 baccalaureate and master's degree social work programs. CSWE supports quality social work education and provides leadership and professional development opportunities, allowing social workers to play a central role in achieving the profession's goals of social economic justice. The Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) recognizes CSWE as the sole accrediting agency for social work education in the U.S.
