Lincoln and Booth- In Search of Better Angels was created in partnership with KENW.
This is a one man show with a twist…one character is live, one is on film. It traces the lives of these famous American figures at critical turning points in their lives, in their own words or the words of those who knew them well. What we all do with critical turning points in our own lives greatly determines who we are today and defines our success or failure.
The writer/performer, Patrick McCreary, now teaches and designs for the ENMU Department of Theatre and Digital Filmmaking.
He is a professional actor with performances spanning over three decades throughout the world. This is one of two one-man shows he performs on tour. He has appeared before three former Presidents of the United States: Carter, Reagan, and Bush '41.
He has proposed starting a new summer performing arts academy for young people to benefit this region and based off the ENMU campus during the summer. Mr. McCreary is donating his services for this one night only gala performance. He will perform an excerpt from this new one-man show.
