ENMU and Portales schools instructors and students are encouraged to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy throughout the day.

ENMU will also live cast a commemorative video commemorating Dr. King's legacy at the MLK Tree on ENMU's campus at noon.

The City of Portales invites the community to participate in the commemorative MLK March that will begin at 5 p.m. at the Memorial Building and end at the Campus Union Building.

Afterwards, a fellowship program will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Campus Union Ballroom. The program will announce the City of Portales' Annual MLK Art Contest winners, feature performances by local choirs and inspirational messages from local pastors.

All are invited to a free dinner afterward in the ENMU dining hall cafeteria.
