First Place Greyhounds Ready for Big LSC Road Trip
PORTALES, NM - With 11 wins in their last 12 games, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team was ready to hit the road for a pair of critical Lone Star Conference contests. The trip opened on Thursday afternoon at Texas A&M-Kingsville (results not available at press time), and concludes on Saturday at Angelo State.
Greyhound Women's Basketball Receiving Votes in National Polls
PORTALES, NM -With wins in 11 of its last 12 games, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (12-3; LSC 8-0) continued to receive national recognition. The Greyhounds remained in the receiving votes section of the D2SIDA media poll, and debuted in the same section of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll.
Women's Basketball Retains Fourth Spot in South Central Regional Media Poll
PORTALES, NM - For the sixth consecutive week, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team made an appearance in the South Central Region of the 2016-17 Women's Basketball Division II Media Poll, sponsored by D2SIDA. With a 12-3 overall record, the Greyhounds remained fourth in the eighth edition of the poll.
Greyhounds Set Five School Records at MLK Invitational
The Eastern New Mexico University men's and women's indoor track team posted four provisional qualifiers and broke five school records at the UNM MLK Invitational in Albuquerque this past Saturday.
Cass Named to Don Hansen All-Super Region 4 Team
PORTALES, NM - The 2016 season saw junior running back Kamal Cass further entrench himself as one of the great players in Eastern New Mexico University football history. On Wednesday morning, Cass was named to the 2016 Don Hansen All-Super Region Four Team.
Greyhounds Lead Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll with 171 Student Athletes
PORTALES, NM - The 2016-17 year has been a strong one for the Eastern New Mexico University athletic department both on the field and in the classroom. That trend continued on Tuesday afternoon, when the Lone Star Conference released its Commissioner's Honor Roll for the fall semester, and the Greyhounds led the league with 171 honorees.
