Greyhound Women's Basketball Remains in Division II National Polls
PORTALES, NM - With their best start in a quarter century, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (15-4; LSC 11-1) remained atop the Lone Star Conference standings and in the national polls. After splitting two home games last week, Eastern ranked 23rd in the Women's Basketball Division II Media Poll sponsored by D2SIDA. The Greyhounds also received votes in the WBCA poll for the third consecutive week.
Cordova Joins Greyhound Football Staff as Defensive Coordinator
PORTALES, NM - Eastern New Mexico University Football Coach Kelley Lee is proud to announce the hiring of Ivan Cordova as the team's new defensive coordinator. Cordova is no stranger to football in the State of Enchantment, as he assisted with the defensive line at University of New Mexico for the last two seasons after a five-year stint at NM Highlands as the defensive coordinator/linebacker and defensive backs coach.
Greyhound Softball Ready to Open Season at Competitive Tournament in Durant, Okla.
PORTALES, NM - The Eastern New Mexico University softball team is set to open the 2017 season, this weekend. With Head Coach Katie Welborn entering her second season with the Greyhounds, the team will make its season debut at the highly competitive Southeastern Oklahoma State Regional Tournament.
