Greyhound Women's Basketball Third in South Central Poll
PORTALES, NM - After splitting a pair of Lone Star Conference games last week, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team ranked third in the latest Division II South Central Media Poll. With a 16-5 overall record and 12-2 league mark. Last week, the Hounds rallied for a win at Tarleton State, before suffering their second road loss of the season, at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Greyhound Softball Team Concludes Play at SOSU Tournament
DURANT, OKLA. - The Eastern New Mexico University softball team (0-5) concluded competition at the Southeastern Oklahoma State Regional Tournament on Sunday, against St. Mary's and St. Edwards. Kylee Keller batted two-for three against St. Mary's, but the Hounds dropped a 3-1 decision. In the finale, St. Edwards rallied past the Hounds by a 5-2 score.

The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team put up a 14-3 victory over Lane College in game one on Saturday and a 7-0 win in game two.

Szych and Gryschka Post Qualifying Marks at New Mexico Collegiate Classic
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The Eastern New Mexico University indoor track & field teams returned to Albuquerque for the third time this season, and faced stiff competition from some of the finest NCAA Division I and II teams in the region at the University of New Mexico Collegiate Classic. Klaudia Szych and Melina Gryschka posted qualifying marks for the NCAA Division II Championships in the 800-meter and one-mile runs, respectively. The men's 4x400 relay team narrowly missed qualifying for the championship event as well.

PORTALES, NM - With their best start in a quarter century, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (16-5; LSC 12-2) remained atop the Lone Star Conference standings and in the national polls. After splitting road home games last week, Eastern ranked 24th in the Women's Basketball Division II Media Poll sponsored by D2SIDA.
Eastern Defeats Western for Historic 13th LSC Win of the Season
PORTALES, NM - The Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (17-5; LSC 13-2) used a 35-point effort from its bench to pick up a wild 76-71 victory over visiting Western New Mexico University (4-18; LSC 0-15), in Lone Star Conference action, Tuesday evening. The victory set a new ENMU single-season record with 13 conference victories and moved the Hounds to 9-2 at home this season.
Hounds Hoops Lassos Mustangs, 83-77
It marks the first time ENMU has won back-to-back LSC games since the 2013-14 team won three straight from Jan. 15-22. The Greyhounds won, 83-77.
Big Inning Propels Greyhound Softball to Split with Colorado Christian
LUBBOCK, TEXAS - Susannah Chandler bashed her third homer of the season and the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (1-6) exploded for six runs in the third inning, en-route to their first win of the season. The Hounds defeated Colorado Christian 8-0 in the opening game of Tuesday's Doubleheader at Plains Capital Park. The Cougars bounced back to claim an 11-2 decision in the nightcap.
Morales Adds Four for 2017 Season
Eastern New Mexico University Women's Soccer Coach Omar Morales has announced the addition of four more players elevate the Greyhound program in the upcoming season. Victoria Nunez (Borger, Texas/Borger HS), Keyara Zuniga (Sahuarita, Ariz./Walden Grove HS), Hayden Zuniga (Sahuarita, Ariz./Walden Grove HS), and Joslynn Carillo (Odessa, Texas/W.E. Boswell HS) should be impact players for the Greyhounds in the near future.
