PORTALES, NM -Freshman third baseman Adriana Carabajal registered a base hit for the seventh time in her last eight games, as the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (13-19; LSC 6-6) concluded its Lone Star Conference series against eighth-ranked Angelo State (24-1; LSC 8-0) on Saturday. The game was a pitcher's duel early on, but ASU pulled away late to hand ENMU a 5-0 setback at Greyhound Field.
Rogers Limits Angelo State in Opening Game of LSC Doubleheader
PORTALES, NM -Eastern New Mexico University's freshman pitcher Kaylee Rogers limited Angelo State (24-1; LSC 8-0) to four runs in the opening game of Friday's double header. The Greyhounds (13-18; LSC 6-5) nearly rallied past the only team still undefeated in Lone Star Conference action, before dropping a tight 4-3 decision. The Rambelles withstood a late rally to win the nightcap by a 23-8 score.

Greyhounds Women's Basketball Concludes Historic Season at NCAA Regional
PUEBLO, COLO. - Friday afternoon, the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team (20-9) closed its historic 2016-17 season at the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Tournament, at Colorado State Pueblo's Massari Arena. After a strong first half, which saw five lead changes, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (24-8) pulled away to hand the Greyhounds an 89-73 loss.
