Greyhound Men's Track & Field Ranks 17th in USTFCCCA National Poll
PORTALES, NM - The Eastern New Mexico University men's outdoor track & field team registered another strong week and posted multiple championship qualifiers at the West Texas A&M Classic. Their continued performance has led to continued national recognition, as the Hounds appeared in the United States Track & Field & Cross Country Coaches Association national poll for the fourth consecutive week.
Hounds Post Strong Finish to WT Classic and Register Qualifying Marks
CANYON, TEXAS - The Eastern New Mexico University outdoor track & field teams completed a strong performance at the West Texas A&M Classic & Multi. Omer Almog (5,000m) and Marcus Parker (100m) registered first-place performances in their events to lead the men's team to a third-place finish. Coley Norcross took second in the 5,000m, while Melina Gryschka took third in the 800m to pace the women's team to a seventh-place finish.
Lopez Leads Diamond Greyhounds in Series Finale Against Cameron
PORTALES, NM - Centerfielder Ashley Lopez cracked a career-high two doubles to lead the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (18-30; LSC 10-14) at the plate in Saturday's Lone Star Conference series finale against Cameron. ENMU pitching forced the Aggies to strand 10 baserunners, but three fifth-inning homers lifted the Aggies to a 5-0 win at Greyhound Field.
