Movies: the hottest ticket in town! It's what we all want to experience, if only for the sole experience of judging them.

I hope that it's not just me who thinks that production studios are really dishing out some of the best movies any of us wanted as of late. Of course, some studios are definitely missing the proverbial bullseye—no calling out, but I'll give you a hint: it rhymes with "his knee car doors "—but others are not holding back by any accounts.

This list is inclusive of movies that have not been released as of March 2019. These films have either been based on previously existing franchises or original ideas.

"Avengers: Endgame" (Marvel Studios)

There was no way this movie wouldn't be first. You can't just kill off the vast majority of our favorite superheroes in the most depressing way you could possibly think of and not expect the follow-up movie to be highly anticipated. "Avengers: Endgame" is the sequel to 2018's "Avengers: Infinity War," the fourth film in Marvel's Avengers series and the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe overall.

Following Thanos's decimation of half of the living universe, the Avengers are scattered throughout the galaxy without any retaliation plan. "Avengers: Endgame" already has a teaser trailer that has been on available to view on YouTube since December 2018.

Be sure to catch "Captain Marvel" on March 8 as well as "Spider-Man: Far From Home" on July 5 as the other MCU films being released this year.

"Avengers: Endgame" releases on April 26.

"It: Chapter Two" (Warner Bros. Pictures)

Sequel to the 2017 film based off the Stephen King book of the same name, "It: Chapter Two" continues the story of Pennywise the Dancing Clown—an interdimensional demonic alien being that possesses an ability to shapeshift with a penchant for awakening every 27 years to eat children in the little town of Derry, Maine.

"It: Chapter Two" focuses on the same kids who defeated "It" in the first movie 27 years later as they try to defeat Pennywise yet again. Anyone who watched the 2017 reboot knows how terrifying Bill Skarsgård is in his portrayal of the demonic clown, and should be excited for the new cast that's meant to torture us all.

If you don't like clowns, stay away for your own sake. Or spiders, for that matter, which is "It's" true form. Turtle fans everywhere will be thrilled, however, as Pennywise's ancient enemy (a giant cosmic omniscient turtle that vomited up the universe—you know, that one) is rumored to have a stronger role in the second part.

"It: Chapter Two" releases on September 6.

"Toy Story 4" (Pixar Animation Studios)

What else can be said for this classic Disney series, except that it was an enormous part of so many childhoods? That includes my own childhood; my first and only Build-a-Bear was a stuffed beagle that I named Woody and subsequently dressed in the same outfit as the character voiced by Tom Hanks.

Following Woody as he reunites with long-lost toy Little Bo Peep, this film is supposed to be more emotional than any other Pixar film yet, although that's just speculation. Tim Allen, the voice of Buzz Lightyear, said the movie's ending was so emotional he "couldn't even get through the last scene."

Basically, Pixar needs to start paying for tissues to be sold next to the popcorn when their movies premiere.

It's the sequel that everyone wanted, and the one that Pixar refused to make—until they decided to make it in 2014. Technically, we should already have had it, what with its original release date June 16, 2017, but that date was given to "Cars 3." Reschedule us once? Shame on you, Pixar.

They rescheduled the release date to June 21, 2018, although that date was taken over by "Incredibles 2." Reschedule us twice? Okay, we'll take it, because we were waiting 14 years for that movie and you know what? It was worth it.

But reschedule "Toy Story 4" a third time and we'll probably just let them. They're working very hard trying to make us cry harder each time we go into a theater. Thanks, Pixar.

"Toy Story 4" releases on June 21.

"Detective Pikachu" (Warner Bros. Pictures, Legendary Pictures, and The Pokémon Company)

You probably groaned when you saw this trailer trending on YouTube. That's okay, it looked terrible.

Then you clicked on it and heard the soothing tones of Ryan Reynolds and the weirdly nightmarish Mr. Mime and probably decided, "Yeah, okay… Keep talking."

Based on the video game of the same name in the popular Nintendo franchise, the film focuses on a former Pokémon trainer who, with a detective Pikachu whose speech only he can hear, searches for his father.

The film doesn't seem to have too much depth to it; if you know nothing about Pokémon, chances are you can still enjoy it. After all, Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds, and Ryan Reynolds is very talented.

"Detective Pikachu" releases on May 10.

"Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (Legendary Pictures)

What draws us as people to giant monsters that like destroying cities and feeding on nuclear energy?

Counter question: who cares, as long as the kaiju are cool?

The sequel to 2014's "Godzilla," this continues the story of the Toho created super-monster as he fights against the volcanic Rodan, benevolent Mothra, and the highly dangerous three-headed King Ghidorah. No more random "MUTOs," as the first film calls its antagonists; just some good old-fashioned monsters from Godzilla's very own rogue's gallery.

If you're a fan of old school kaiju, you must be very excited—no longer men in rubber suits, the movie uses incredible computer generated imaging to create a real scale of all four monsters in the world around us, featuring shots of a Washington, D.C. turned wasteland.

With two trailers online and multiple teasers floating around, this movie looks like it's going to be a spectacle to behold. If that doesn't get your blood pumping, a sequel to "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" and to "Kong: Skull Island" is to be released in May of 2020 titled "Godzilla vs. Kong." Does it need any more explanation?

Final Thoughts

All of these movies, of course, are based on my own personal opinion. The movies listed are the ones that, when I heard about them for the first time, made me want to see more.

Get the popcorn ready, get the soda from the fridge and watch these movies. What are you waiting for? The release date?
