About Us
Our Roo
On the high plains of eastern New Mexico, we are a rare breed of Greyhounds — like a brace of greyhounds, we are bred from courage, tenacity, and endurance. Like a leash of greyhounds, we are always hunting for opportunities to make a positive change in the world. At Eastern New Mexico University we are One Eastern, One Family — One Pack.
Wolves howl, but Greyhounds roo. The Silver Pack made its first roo with the publication of the first yearbook in 1936. We are reaching back to the past to sprint into the future. The Silver Pack is issuing a call to the Greyhound family to come home.
We envision this platform as a place for gathering, a place to hear, a place to experience, and a place to commune with fellow alumni — as well as a place to be heard, to reconnect, and to impact the lives of our future Greyhounds.
As a dynamic and growing pack, we will solicit your regular stories and news. The Silver Pack will reconnect you to the university and the college or department where you gained valuable knowledge and made lifelong friends. We are excited to showcase the fantastic work of our Greyhound faculty, who play a crucial role in our students’ success. The Silver Pack will share the inspiring stories of alumni whose support and accomplishments embody our success. We want to make available ways for you to help us grow and strengthen our pack.
Answer the call.
Answer the roo.
We invite you to embrace the brace and make this space a dynamic pulse between the feeling of warmth and belonging you had during your time with Eastern and our dynamic advance into the future.
