The College of Fine Arts at Eastern New Mexico University, led by Dean David Stevens, offers a diverse range of programs in music, theater, film, art, and communication. The Music Department celebrated the Greyhound Sound Marching Band’s national victory and welcomed three new faculty members. It hosts numerous concerts and offers summer camps and visitation days for prospective students. Theater students engage in productions like Romeo and Juliet and the New Works Festival, with opportunities in student clubs and alumni connections. The Film Program premiered The Hundred Voices of Harry Hoffman, a student-produced feature film, and hosts a student film club. The Art Department introduces animation courses and collaborates with the Reynolds Gallery, hosting events like the Chocolate Sunday, which includes an art auction to support the department. The Communication Department partners with KENW Public Television and Radio, offering students experience through The Chase, Soundwave, and Sound Bites. With hands-on learning and numerous opportunities, the College of Fine Arts provides students with a well-rounded, practical education in the arts.
