Student Accounts

All students must confirm their registration by paying their full bill or setting up a payment plan by Aug. 31, 2007.

Payment Options

There are several ways you can pay to attend classes at Eastern:

  • Pay your bill online
  • Pay the cashier in the Administration Building foyer with cash, check, money order, credit card or debit card.
  • Mail check or money order to:
    Cashier
    ENMU Station 4
    1500 S Ave K
    Portales, NM 88130
  • Place check or money order in the drop box in front of the Administration Building.
  • Call the cashier at 575.562.2619 or 575.562.2620 and pay with a credit card or debit card. ENMU accepts American Express, Discover, Master Card and Visa.
  • If a student's account is being paid by a third party, the Office of Student Accounts must have billing information by the payment deadline.
  • Set up a payment plan. ENMU offers an interest-free payment plan that divides a student's account balance into four equal payments due as follows:
    • First payment due Jan. 22
    • Second payment due Feb. 22
    • Third payment due Mar. 22
    • Fourth payment due Apr. 22
  • A payment plan is needed by students under any of the following circumstances:
    • If a student cannot pay his or her account in full, he or she can set up a plan to spread the payments over the semester.
    • If a student's financial aid and/or scholarships will be paying only a portion of his or her account, the Office of Student Accounts can administer a payment plan for the remaining balance.
    • If a student wants to pay his or her account with work-study or student hire funds, the Office of Student Accounts has a special payment plan for this.

Registration Cancelation

Registration will be canceled for students who have not paid their account or set up a payment plan by Jan. 22, 2008.

A $50 late fee will be assessed to students who do not meet the confirmation/payment deadline of Jan. 22, 2008.

Refunds are determined by the date a status change occurs at the Office of the Registrar.

  • Refund percentages are applied to total charges assessed and not the amount paid.
  • You are responsible for the total charges assessed regardless of whether the installment payment plan is used.
  • If you withdraw before paying all installment plan payments, you may receive a bill rather than a refund.
  • Absence from classes does not constitute an official withdraw.

Please be aware that any change in enrollment status may result in a decrease or loss of financial aid eligibility. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid at 575.562.2194 if you have any questions.
