Graduation

Students completing their degrees must apply for graduation during the semester in which they intend to graduate.

Please be advised that a new application for graduation must be submitted if you do not graduate in the semester for which you applied. The graduation fee of $15.00 must be paid each time you apply for graduation.

Application Deadines:

  • Fall graduation: Friday, Sept. 4, 2009
  • Spring graduation: Friday, February 12, 2010

If you have any questions, contact Ms. Pat Gallegos or Ms. Laura Smart in the Office of the Registrar, 575.562.2175, or go to the Administration Building, Room 105.

Undergraduate Students

  1. Complete the Student Satisfaction Survey.
  2. Complete the Undergraduate Approval for Graduation.
  3. Pay the $15 graduation fee and any commencement fees to the cashier in the Administration Building.
  4. Submit the Undergraduate Approval for Graduation to the Office of the Registrar in the Administration Building, Room 105, accompanied by your receipt from the cashier's office.
  5. If you plan to march in commencement, contact the bookstore to purchase your regalia.

Graduate Students

  1. Complete the Student Satisfaction Survey.
  2. Complete the Graduate Application for Graduation form.
  3. Pay the $15 graduation fee to the cashier in the Administration Building.
  4. Return your Graduate Application for Graduation form to your graduate coordinator.
  5. If you plan to march in commencement, contact the bookstore to purchase your regalia.
