Assistant/Associate Professor of Information Systems

Job Summary: The College of Business of Eastern New Mexico University provides quality, student focused business education preparing individuals for professional careers, graduate studies and lifelong learning. We actively engage in business collaboration throughout the region. The College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University seeks candidates for a full-time position in Information Systems.

Responsibilities include a 12 credit-hour teaching load per semester, student advising, and other duties as assigned. This position may require additional teaching responsibilities such as Introduction to Computers or other courses depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or another closely related field is required for tenure track, though ABD will be considered. A terminal degree and publication are required for tenure. College teaching and relevant work experience is preferred. Teaching experience in Web-based instruction and instructional television is desirable. The ideal candidate should have the ability to teach in a variety of subjects including web programming, website design and development, networks and operating systems, and networking and web security at the undergraduate level, with limited MBA level opportunity.
