CDIS Program Director

Location: Health and Human Services

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience

Job Summary: Full time CDIS Program Director/CDIS Faculty position: 3/4 time teaching/supervision load, 1/4 time administrative release.

Responsibilities include supervising graduate practicums, teaching undergraduate courses, recruiting/PR, providing academic advising, course scheduling/rotations, departmental assessment/strategic planning and reporting, undergraduate program review and curriculum updates, securing/maintaining rehab and therapy services contracts, and supervision of departmental acquisitions, maintenance, and university activities.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree (doctoral degree also considered) and CCC-SLP, minimum of two years of CDIS practice experience, must be eligible for NM licensure as SLP, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.
