Qualifications: Kitchen Background Preferred but not Necessary
18+ Years Old
Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents in English
Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Requires the ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions
Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
Frequently works with sharp knives and utensils
Frequently works in a hot environment
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
Report and track food waste and/or equipment issues
Preps according to the portion control standards
Store, Rotate and Handle food products properly
Understand and follow approved recipes

Duties: A prep cook’s role is to assist the steakhouse in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and putting together entrees for the line cooks, all while adhering to our high standards of food quality.
