Summary: The City of Santa Fe Community Services is searching for a qualified applicant to assist with supervision and provision of recreational, instructional and educational programs and activities for children ages 6-12 throughout the Summer Youth Program.

Qualifications: Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older and
Six (6) months experience in recreation and/or education.

Duties: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Considerable knowledge of a variety of arts and crafts and/or sports activities; of accepted recreation policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Considerable skill in supervisory techniques.
Ability to organize and conduct a variety of arts and crafts and sports activities to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public.

Must successfully pass background investigation. Mandatory CPR and First Aide Training will be provided by the City of Santa Fe upon hiring.

Work is performed inside or outdoors at a program site. Subject to cuts, scrapes, bruises, broken bones, germs, bacteria, viruses, and dust. Requires light physical exertion, including sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Irregular work hours required.
