Summary: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Office work, typing, phone contact with professional business people, digital photography, database entry. Candidate must be able to operate Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher as well as email. Confidentiality is required in this position!

Qualifications: Applicant must have Good public contact skills and a professional work attitude. Applicant will be skilled in Microsoft Office applications, professional phone contact, and business writing such as letters and reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student to gain experience in business development and marketing.

Duties: The office assistant will work directly with the Director of Economic Development, providing courteous, friendly and professional assistance and helping to gather and analyze business and real estate data. Typical duties will include contacting property owners and businesses for information, providing local area information over the phone, composing letters and mailing information packets to clients, gathering real estate data and entering it into contact databases, digital photography (camera provided) and field survey work, and other duties as assigned.
