Job Summary: The NBC 5 Sales team is seeking a Digital Sales Planner. AS a Digital Sales Planner, you will manage day-to-day partner relationships and account management work as you'll be given a list of accounts for which you are solely responsible.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
Must be willing to work in Fort Worth, Texas (near DFW airport).
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Minimum 1 year of online experience in media planning or client service role.
Two years of project media related projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external clients.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Digital Media Industry experience preferred.
Well Organized and good attention to detail.
Strong computer skills especially in Excel, Power Point, and word.
Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge a plus.
Strong analytical and creative skills.
A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment.
High energy and teamwork mentality a must.
Duties: Team with Account Managers to understand client goals and objectives and brainstorm solutions.
Work with all internal departments (Ad Ops, Marketing, Management, Site Team, etc.) on the development and implementation of client campaigns.
Create media plans that meet customer needs and maximize revenue for NBC 5.
Handle client services and ensure all digital campaigns get live, including collection of assets and liasing with Ad Ops to ensure campaigns go live as expected.
Communicate campaign "highlights" and/or red flags to Account Managers to enable resolution with client.
Deliver campaign recap to Account Managers and/or clients summarizing performance.
Coordinate with Account Managers on development of renewal strategies based on client/program insights.
Work closely with the Digital Sales Manager to tactically drive company-wide goals and improve operational sales process.
Create template media plans for both custom and off the shelf marketing ideas.
Work with Digital Sales Manager to determine package pricing for new offerings.
Analyze areas within the sales/planning workflow that can be improved, create process enhancements that eliminate any bottlenecks or barriers to entry.
Handle any and all ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely, efficient manner.
