Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Program Manager, a Pandera Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects according to the predetermined timeline and budget. The Project Manager aligns themselves closely with resources (internally and externally) to achieve project completion. Building and managing project teams, schedules, budgets, and business requirements are central to this position.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or information technology
Master’s degree or MBA preferred
1-3 years hand-on project management experience in IT
University degree (or equivalent) or working towards completion.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
Knowledge of Agile Development methodology.
Familiarity of PMBOK standards and procedures.
Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
Must have ability to lead, mentor and motivate team members.
Ability to prioritize, manage and work on multiple tasks in order to meet key milestones.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Duties: Primary liaison to the client for the Pandera Project Management Office.
Manage project from initiation to closure.
Develop project schedule aligning with deliverables and approved timeline.
Secure resources outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) per Pandera resource scheduling procedures.
Create travel schedule for resources per approved project plan.
Monitor project budget and approve time and expenses.
Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports internally to Pandera and directly with client.
Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with project change request forms.
Provide best practice and lesion learned to the whole PMO organization to help shape and improve Pandera PMO standards and common practices.
Adhere to company policy and lead by example while representing Pandera in the client’s environment.
Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
