Job Summary: This position will direct and coordinate all aspects of the procurement procedures for the Division. The incumbent must demonstrate a good working knowledge of the Department and Civision rules and regulations, policies and procedures, the parks system, the state of New Mexico and federal programs in order to provide exemplary internal and external customer service to staff, contractors and agencies seeking information on doing business with the Division and assist in implementing the Division's strategic plan. The incumbent will establish price agreements for commodities and services for field offices, obtain price quotes and initiate purchases requests, administer and renew all division's procurement price agreements. The incumbent will coordinate the Division's uniform purchase program and research and develop updated uniform items, track budget and funding pertaining to this program. The incumbent will coordinate ordering of Division's annual camping and day use permits, order all other recurring receipt orders to assure accurate and timely delivery to the field, track budget and funding pertaining to this program.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting and Finance and two years of experience in accounting, finance, purchasing, procurement and/or warehouse clerking. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six years may substitue for the required education and experience.
