The RN/Social Worker Clinical Trainer will have the opportunity to affect the delivery of training programs across a Fortune 25 Organization. This individual will keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems in specific areas of expertise. This could encompass training of Claims or nurses, medical directors, or non-clinical staff and could include some aspects of the design process. Positions in this function are primarily responsible for the effective delivery of training programs across the organization. Keeps abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems. May also be involved in the design process. Positions delivering operations specific training, such as Claims or Customer Service, are in the Training Delivery-Operational function. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed. Works with less structured, more complex issues. Serves as a resource to others.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree required
3+ yearsa experience leading & facilitating training required and i.e. classroom training. Will consider management experience in lieu of the 3 year facilitation requirement.
3+ yearsa of clinical experience required; i.e. care coordination, service coordination, case management, etc.
Current and unrestricted nursing license or social worker license required.
1+ year of experience leading virtual training with WebEx or a similar facilitation tool required.
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required i.e. Word - creating documents, job aids, and learning documents, Excel - creating and maintaining spreadsheets, PowerPoint - creating slide show presentations from scratch.
Ability to travel up to 25% required (domestic).
Ability to work independently; i.e. being able to handle tasks by oneself.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Medicare and Medicaid experience preferred.
Experience in managed long term care.
3+ years of long term care experience i.e. home and community based services (not Nursing homes) strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Visio highly preferred.
Duties: Performs actions associated with this competency without assistance.

Consistently provides practical/relevant ideas and perspectives on process or practice improvements which may easily be implemented.
