Job Summary: Utilizes treatment and recovery data to assess outcomes and effectiveness of MHCD’s programs and processes. Collects data to answer research and operations questions that may arise from program managers and executive directors. Advises on statistical and research methods as related to grants, programs, and research questions of interest. Develops summative and formative analytics reports for delivery to staff, management, and stakeholders to report findings, along with SSRS reports to provide continuous feedback to management and stakeholders as needed.
Master’s degree required in statistics, mathematics, quality control, or other graduate degree with strong emphasis on quantitative research. Background in psychological research or clinical/health service delivery preferred.
1 Year experience analyzing large data sets using univariate and multivariate statistical techniques. Ability to develop code and reports in SQL, SSRS, and statistical software environments. Experience with quality control, Six Sigma and Lean techniques, qualitative, and/or multilevel statistical designs preferred. Ability to program in C# or web-based languages preferred.
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data collection instruments.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Ability to organize and prioritize work, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Knowledge and proficiency of MS Office software including word processing, spreadsheets, database, e-mail.
Proficiency in statistical software packages: SPSS or R required; LISREL, HLM, WinSteps recommended.
Proficiency in SQL and SSRS environments. Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Visual basic, or others desirable.
Proficiency with operations research, Six Sigma, or Lean techniques.
Duties: Collects data and conducts analyses.
Develops and runs computerized reports as needed.
Develops presentations and documents
Writes sections of grants, papers, and other research materials.
Provides consultation on research, experimental and quasi-experimental designs and qualitative designs.
Interacts with program managers and program directors to advise on data and analyses reporting.
