Job Summary: Assist the Director of Media & Operations in supporting the user base of WNCN:
• Administer and maintain a diverse assortment of computer hardware and software applications.
• Devise new strategies to provide consumers with content outside of the traditional broadcast model.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects from inception to implementation.
• Provide support solutions to problems while minimizing service disruption. Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics

Qualifications: Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:

• Minimum two years hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Windows 2000 and Windows XP workstations and servers in a corporate network environment.
• Knowledge of and experience supporting clients in a Newsroom Computer System.
• A strong understanding of the TCP/IP Protocol stack.
• A strong understanding of Ethernet networking and associated media (Fiber, Twisted pair cabling, etc.)
• Previous experience supporting the Microsoft Office suite and MS Outlook 2000.
• Knowledge of television broadcast technology and television operations.
• Strong Understanding of Non-Linear Editing and Production System Architectures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction.
• The ability to work well under pressure in a 24x7 production environment.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts & overtime, including nights/weekends and holidays as necessary.
• Must be able to lift, bend, kneel and carry up to 70 lbs.
