Job Summary: WTVJ/NBC 6 is looking for a Director, Local Brand Marketing to lead the strategy and execution of marketing plans for WTVJ/NBC 6 including TV, out of home, websites and mobile platforms in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale market. The Director, Local Brand Marketing will lead the vision on how these products compete in the marketplace and how to grow and retain consumer groups.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years overall marketing experience

• Must be willing to work at the station in Miramar location
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• No relocation benefits available.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

Desired:
• Consumer marketing across multiple media including creative management
• Deep knowledge of multimedia and trends
• Strong strategic and analytical skill set
• Television or cable marketing experience a plus
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Duties: • Help develop marketing strategies and plans to define the brand, build awareness and drive consumption of WTVJ/NBC 6
• Work with Research to develop consumer insights and translate those insights into market needs that inform content, product development, and brand communication
• Source/manage internal/external agencies, media partners, and vendors, to execute multimedia marketing tactics including writing briefs, evaluating creative and managing budgets
• Manage day-to-day details on the advertising campaigns
• Work with media team to evaluate media budget and mix to achieve optimal ROI
• Responsible for developing and managing success metrics with research and analytics
• Work in partnership across a number of markets and other NBC properties
