Ronald Shirey

Professor Ronald Shirey was the director of Choirs at Eastern New Mexico University from 1970-1975.  At the time of his death he was director of Choirs at Texas Christian University and director of Chancel Choir at University Christian Church in Fort Worth.  During his time at ENMU the choral program achieved an international reputation for excellence.  He also expanded "Sewanee" the annual variety show that was the major music scholarship fundraiser.
