Construction Updates from Hardhat Hound

More than $60 million in campus improvements are under way at ENMU through 2010. Here are some fall updates:

• Be careful around construction zones, especially near the Natatorium and Science Building. Look out for open trenches, landscaping projects and drain installations in sidewalks.
• The Science Building is open for classes but ventilation systems are being installed. Watch for open ceiling tiles and men on ladders. Please refrain from taking personal tours of the Science Building until mid-September.
• Renovation of the Music Building will begin this fall, so be prepared for construction in that area.

Construction Milestones

2007

• San Juan Village Apartments opens its doors to students.
• ENMU's Campus Union Building is renovated.

2006

• ENMU dedicates its first new building in more than a decade: the Communication Center. The building houses classrooms, labs and the digital KENW Broadcast Center.
