    • enter your term(s), and select the index you want to search (author, title, subject, keyword)
    • check the Netlibrary database for full-text books online
  • to find journal articles, use a periodical database
    • go to the library’s Periodical Databases page and select one of the databases listed below (click the letter that begins the database name at the first alphabetical list in the upper right)
    • if you are off campus, type your ENMU ID# at the remote authorization screen

Databases for Spanish Literature Research:

  • MLA--scholarly, limited full text
  • Informe--semi-scholarly, Spanish literature, culture, biography, full text
  • JSTOR--scholarly, full text except current journal issues
  • LitFinder--scholarly, full text
  • Academic Search Premier--scholarly, full text
  • You may also want to search a biographical database such as Dictionary of Literary Biography
  • NEW--try Zia Search on the Periodical Databases page--click the Zia Search link, select several databases, enter your search terms, and the databases will be searched simultaneously (for Spanish topics, select Academic Search Premier, Informe, Expanded Academic ASAP, JSTOR, Wilson Select Plus)
If you are unable to locate full-text material in the database you are searching, try using our Full-Text Online Journals, on the Periodical Databases page. If you are still unable to locate your material, you may place a request for it (see below).

Requesting Material

Register with the ILLiad ILL system and create your personal ILLiad account. Go to the Interlibrary Loan link and click on the ILLiad Log In/Register link on the upper right. Click on the "First Time Users click here" link and register with the system. Enter your ENMU email address, create an ILLiad username of your own choosing, and enter your ENMU ID number as your ILLiad password. Return to the same ILLiad Log In/Register link and logon to ILLiad to use the system.
  • if you are taking classes on the main campus, check Golden Library's holdings first, before submitting a request. If your item is unavailable online or in the library, you may place an ILL request.
  • if you are a videoconference, online or on-site student and do not come to the main campus for any of your classes, you may request anything not available full-text online via ILL, including items from Golden Library's catalog.
On-campus students may pick up requested items at the library's Circulation Desk. Items requested from distance ed students will be sent directly to them. Some articles may be available electronically via your ILLiad account or ENMU email account. For items we must request from other libraries, the turnaround time may be as long as two weeks. Golden Library has no control over lending terms and renewal policies set by other libraries.
