Reserve A Film


Golden Library offers thousands of streaming feature films and documentaries for use in online and face-to-face classes. Terms of use for each vendor are slightly different, so please see the information for each company, below.

To reserve a film, please email Michele Wood with the following information:

    Title of film
    Date you want film available for student viewing (please give 2 weeks notice)
 

Swank Feature Films
Allows 30 days unlimited access, per purchase. Film file links must be placed within Blackboard course pages to satisfy copyright requirements for restricted access. Search Swank Digital Campus films by title, director or genre.

 

Documentary/Educational Films
Currently Available Documentary Films

Films Media Group (Films on Demand)
Allows unlimited access within a three-year period, per purchase. Film file links must be placed within Blackboard course pages to satisfy copyright requirements for restricted access. Search Films on Demand documentaries.

Media Education Foundation Documnetaries
MEF allows unlimited access for seven-day periods, per purchase. Film file links must be placed within Blackboard course pages to satisfy copyright requirements for restricted access. Search the MEF site by title or select one of the category tabs (gender, health, race, politics, commercialism).

Kanopy Documentaries
Access is for one or three years. Film file links must be placed within Blackboard course pages to satisfy copyright requirements for restricted access. Search the Kanopy site for documentaries by title, subject or producer.
