Student Learning at ENMU

Eastern New Mexico University has been formally involved in assessment since 1986. The primary purpose of outcomes assessment at Eastern is to improve instruction and to enhance student learning. In the words of ENMU’s Strategic Plan 2008-2013, the University’s overarching goal is to place student learning at the center of every institutional action and activity. By assessing student learning and by enhancing the pedagogy and technology of instruction, the University can improve academic programs and services to its students, creating a stronger educational experience for students and building a stronger university for future students.
