The outdoor Fitness Court, located between the College of Business and the Tennis Courts, is an outdoor bodyweight circuit training center designed for adults of all ages and abilities. The Fitness Court is open to the public and requires no membership. What are the hours the Fitness Court is open?
The current hours are from dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. If ENMU installs lighting, these hours may change.
How do I use the Fitness Court?
There is a QR code available on the Fitness Court that will guide you through free workouts.
How many people can be on the Fitness Court at one time?
The number of people permitted on the court will be determined by the type of class being offered.
Can I use the Fitness Court wall as a surface to throw a lacrosse or medicine ball?
No. This will damage the structure.
Can I reserve the Fitness Court for my group?
No. We are only reserving the Fitness Court for ENMU fitness classes.
Can my dog play on the Fitness Court?
No. Per ENMU policy, only service animals are permitted.
Can alumni use the Fitness Court?
Yes! The Fitness Court is available for drop-in use by alumni and community members. No ENMU ID is required.
What if I find something broken on the Fitness Court?
Please report any damage or concerns to the ENMU Physical Plant at 575.562.2089.
Does the Fitness Court close in the winter?
No. The Fitness Court is open from dawn to dusk, year-round. We advise that you use caution when the elements may be hot, wet, windy, or icy. We do not recommend using the Fitness Court under extreme weather conditions.
How old do I have to be to be on the Fitness Court?
Manufacturer guidelines advise that users be a minimum of 14 years old. Juveniles under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent, guardian, or event representative.
Can I bring my bike, scooter or skateboard on the Fitness Court?
No. These will damage the Fitness Court surface and are unsafe for use on the Fitness Court.
Is there risk associated with using the Fitness Court?
Yes, Participants are using ENMU facilities at their own risk, and ENMU is not liable for any injuries sustained while utilizing recreational areas.
Are there cameras monitoring the Fitness Court?
Yes, the area is being monitored by surveillance systems and police.
What if an incident occurs when I am using the outdoor recreational areas?
All incidents that occur within ENMU outdoor recreational areas must be immediately reported to the ENMU Department of Public Safety at (575) 562-2393. Please dial 911 for all emergencies.
