When you are currently enrolled at ENMU, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) provides you with certain rights with respect to your educational records. Educational records mean those records that are directly related to you and maintained by ENMU or by a party acting for ENMU, with some exceptions.
ENMU's Annual Notice to Students Regarding FERPA Rights
Annually, we inform current ENMU students of their rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. FERPA, with which ENMU intends to comply fully, affords eligible students certain rights with respect to their educational records.

Student Consent for Access to Educational Records
When you are an ENMU student, you have the right to consent to disclosure of personally identifiable information contained in your educational records. You must complete a Student Consent for Access to Educational Records Form to allow for ENMU to release your information, however, please note while this consent form authorizes ENMU to release educational records to third parties, it does not obligate ENMU to do so. ENMU reserves the right to review and respond to requests for release of educational records on a case-by-case basis.
Directory Information
As an ENMU student, you'll have the right to make your directory information private. ENMU Directory Information may be made available to the general public unless you notify the Office of the Registrar, in writing, that you do not want any or all of the directory information listed below made available to the general public.
FERPA Directory Information and Form
If you have any questions, you may also contact the Office of the Registrar additional information regarding your rights under FERPA. More information regarding FERPA can be found at the Department of Education.
